I discovered Yoga one day while taking my kids to an art workshop. The workshop was being held at The Blue Heron Yoga Studio in Cedar City, Utah. Everything about the place spoke to me. After reading through some of the material I was completely drawn to it. It was beautiful, alluring and a little intimidating at the same time. Unfortunately I could not afford to take any classes at that time and forgot about it until some years later. After moving back to Vegas and discovering Yoga Zone on the Health Network one day, I began my practice on the carpet of my living room. I felt so great afterward (and after loosing weight after only practicing 20 minutes a day for two weeks) I decided it was for me. I bought a mat, practiced daily along with my TV and soon began taking classes around town. Before I knew it, I was enrolled in the Living Yoga Program to become certified and someday teach myself. I have been teaching now for nearly 6 years and practicing for more than 8. It is one of the great loves of my life and I am grateful each day to be able to share this gift with others.
I work hard to keep my training up to date and to deepen my knowledge by continually studying and attending yoga workshops and conferences every chance I get. I have been very fortunate to study with various top notch instructors, each lending a different perspective to my practice and my teaching.
I am certified through Living Yoga Program and registered with Yoga Alliance.
I enjoy sharing yoga with people of all ages and backgrounds, and I hope to see you in one of my classes soon!
